Our Employee Spotlight series aims to highlight the many talented individuals who work at Elite Tape.
Over the last few years, Elite Tape has continued to grow and that always means our Production team needs to add some
additional manpower and skill. Having recently worked as both a machine operator utilizing CNC grinding machines and an irrigation installer fitting piping, Zack’s precision skills and attention-to-detail were exactly what we needed. Zack’s big smile, dependability and willingness to learn anything (and everything) made him a great fit for our team.
Knowing that he had much to learn about converting tape, Zack knew the value of
patient trainers and a tight-knit team, “At Elite Tape everyone is always willing to help. I also really love logging those jumbo rolls of tape!”
In his free time Zack enjoys working out and spending time with his extended family. Zack also recently earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a Finance concentration - Way to go, Zack! We're sure he's now analyzing Elite Tape waste and trying to find additional ways to
further minimize it 🙂
When asked what advice he might give his younger self, he knew what has continued to carry him successfully through life: “Never give up and always find ways to improve yourself, each and every day.”
Zack is very close to his family and he remembers his grandmother often volunteering at a local charity when he was growing up. He would dig through his
closet to find clothes he could give her to share with the people she met there. For this reason, Zack’s charity of choice is especially close to his heart.
In celebration of Zack Whitfield and his commitment to our company, Elite Tape will be contributing $1,000 to his favorite charity CHRIST CHILD SOCIETY.
