Description

Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) tape is a slippery film with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on one side. It is the ideal tape for applications requiring high slip and durability. Elite’s UHMW tapes protect surfaces from abrasion and allow contact without wear and tear as well as prevent damage during sudden impact. UHMW tapes can be trusted to perform in a variety of applications where materials need to slide freely and protection is key.

Each of Elite’s UHMW tapes has an aggressive solvent acrylic adhesive system that can handle elevated temperature resistance yet remove cleanly after application use.
UHMW is a nice alternative to Skived PTFE film tapes where extreme temperature resistance is not required.
Elite UHMW products are offered with a white paper release liner for easy removal.
Offered in various thicknesses – 5mil., 10mil. and 20mil.
Maximum Operating Temperature: 300F
Elite Tape stocks these UHMW film tapes in logs 26″ wide x 36 yds with small minimums to purchase and quick 1-2 day turnaround times
