Our Employee Spotlight series aims to highlight the many
talented individuals who work at Elite Tape.
As one of Elite Tape’s first employees and Production Manager, Manuel Figueroa has been integral to our daily operation. His vast tape knowledge and his creativity in finding solutions to customer requests make him an invaluable member of our team. After spending 32 years working and supervising teams in the tape industry, in 2014 he was ready for a new
adventure helping to build a brand-new business.
Manuel’s favorite part of his job is the opportunity to use his creativity and design skills to create machine enhancements to make new products happen for our customers. “Elite Tape’s work environment is great and the people I work with are just awesome. It really makes the job easier and enjoyable.”
In his free time Manuel enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, working on home projects and taking walks with his wife.
When asked what advice he might give his younger self, he had many words of wisdom:
“Stop procrastinating”
“Never hesitate to invest in education”
“Don’t waste your resources”, and
“ALWAYS give more than what you are asked for. People will appreciate it.”
Manuel is incredibly calm, kind and
always good-natured as his co-workers will tell you. It’s no surprise that his favorite charities are those that support those in need of food, shelter and better health.
In celebration of Manuel Figueroa and his many contributions that have helped build our company, Elite Tape will be contributing $1,000 to his favorite charity, World Vision International.
